The registered professional nurse who administers skilled nursing care to patients requiring professional nursing services and teaches and supervises the family and other members of the nursing team. These services are performed in accordance with the physician’s orders and under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, or designated Case Manager.
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides assigned nursing care as prescribed by a physician under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Performs selected tasks, including the administration of treatments and medications, in the care of the sick, the maintenance of health prevention, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
The Nursing Assistant gives supportive services which are required in order to provide and maintain bodily and emotional comfort and to assist the patient toward independent living in a safe environment.
The Home Health Aide gives supportive services which are required to provide and maintain bodily and emotional comfort and to assist the patient toward independent living in a safe environment.
Physical Therapists assists patients regain physical motion and strength by planning and administering physical therapy regimens as prescribed by the supervising physician.
Occupational Therapists help patients regain day to day skills through rehabilitation by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy, treatment and educational services. These include activities such as dressing, feeding and regularly skilled functions that enable the patient to get back to work.
The Home Health Social Worker specializes in advising patient/caregivers how to deal with illness or problems related their illness. The care is coordinated with the home health team and physician/s involved.
